On 10th October 2014, I had a memorable class with my friends and Dr. Fariza. I think the lesson on that day didn’t make me sleepy at all! What did I learn on that day? CASPER! Actually I never heard about Casper before this and when suddenly Dr. Fariza asked the class about Casper and we all went silent including me. Casper… that ghost cartoon that I used to watch? Something like that maybe? I thought it at first. Then Dr. Fariza explained what Casper is all about. In my understanding, Casper is the guideline to make the slideshow. Casper has its own rules which are contrast, alignment, simplicity, proximity and emphasis.
Before this, whenever I make slideshow, I just blankly do it without considering the size or types of font, the color, the spacing and etc. After I know what Casper is all about, I realize that it is important to refer to Casper to do the best and effective slideshow so that people would understand better. It’s good to learn and understand Casper as well as practise it in the slideshow next time. Using Casper I’m sure that I can make a best yet simple slideshow to present to people!
Well, I think that’s all for this week, can’t wait for the next class! Dr. Fariza is in Japan and I’m waiting for her. Hehe. :)
